Editorial standards

A LivelyReads article should leave its reader better able to understand a question. Article counts, commercial opportunities, or search phrases do not override that purpose.

Evidence that a reader can follow

Health, technical, financial, and legal claims need appropriate primary or authoritative sources. Source lists explain their relevance. Changing provider terms, prices, or preparation instructions must be checked for the precise situation being described. We distinguish source-backed facts from illustrative examples and editorial suggestions.

Originality and independence

We do not publish copied articles, rewritten provider descriptions, fabricated product tests, invented patient stories, ratings without evidence, or coordinated links between publications. An article must be useful without a purchase link.

Dates and corrections

Publication dates identify when a piece first appeared. A source-review date identifies substantive checking, not medical review or a guarantee that every future change is reflected. Material revisions should be recorded through the editorial revision history and appropriate dates updated. See the corrections policy.

Commercial boundaries

Read the advertising and affiliate disclosure. Commercial relationships, if introduced, must be visible and must not determine medical conclusions.
